Country Scores
Each country’s scores are calculated based on the number of total items or questions in the corresponding barometer or index. The raw score is converted to a percentage and assigned a letter grade (A-F), where 100% (A) is the most protective and 0% (F) is the least protective. Visit the methodology pages to learn more.
Note: Survey data for countries with fewer than 30 responses on the F&M Global Barometers LGBTQI+ Perception Index (GBPI) are excluded from the results.
